Thanks to the Birthright organization, Shir Hadash is organizing a free 10 day trip to Israel this summer (July) for 18 -26 year olds who have not previously visited Israel as part of an organized peer trip.
This trip will be an adventure one will never forget, and will include hiking, biking, boating, Jeep 4×4′ing, snorkeling, wine-tasting, and even camel’ing one’s way throughout the country, from the Golan in the North to Masada and Eilat in the South, with explorations of the Holy City of Jerusalem, the mystical city of Tzefat and the electric night life of Tel Aviv.
By day, participants will learn about their heritage as they literally walk the Bible, meet Jews of varied backgrounds and discuss the pressing political and cultural questions of the modern State of Israel; at night, participants will be exposed to the finest in Israeli entertainment and fun.
To make this trip the absolute best Israel experience possible, Shir Hadash is partnering with Sachlav, a large and trusted tour company with years of experience producing great Birthright experiences with just the right balance between fun and inspiration. To learn more about the nature of their trips, please click here or see a sample itinerary here (Shir Hadash’s itinerary will be similar, but with a few additional and unique aspects).

To pre-register for this trip and receive more information about it, please sign up here (or if you know someone who might be interested, send them a link to this page). Also, feel free to include contact information for your friends you think might be interested in joining you on this once in a lifetime adventure. Be sure to list SHIR HADASH as the source recommending you; that way, you’re request and subsequent application will receive highest priority for a trip that is limited in space.
